SKIN INC - Treatments!

Hello all, today I will be sharing with you my experience at SKIN INC for signature treatments.

I was really thrilled when I was invited to try out their facial treatments because I’ve read about it from other bloggers and it seems to really deliver good results.

Moreover, I’ve been using a couple of SKIN INC’s star products for months and even years to know that this is a brand I can trust to give me the perfect skin I yearn for.

I headed down to the outlet at Ion Orchard for my treatment.

SKIN INC is always pretty busy every time I walk pass their shop so the day I went down for my facial was no exception.

Took picture of my bare face for you guys to see while waiting.

As you can tell, I don’t have any problems from pimples, blemishes or acne but I am concern about the evenness of my skin tone as well as looking as fair as I can be.

Because as Asians, we are more prone to having yellow looking skin which I do not like, at all.

All changed and ready to start!

The 1st treatment I did was the Oxy Miracle Peel, followed by the Oxy Miracle Infusion.

This 2 step ‘peel and heal’ treatment gives stressed-out skin a much needed oxygen boost!

At this stage, even though I could not see my face, I can feel that it is so much more hydrated than when I arrived at SKIN INC outlet.

I really enjoyed it when the facial thereapist massaged the customized blend on my skin and I can feel my skin absorbing the serum really well. & it was all thanks to the exfoliation done earlier.

The next treatment that I did was the

SKIN INC Power Fix Treatment.

WHAT IS THIS COOL LOOKING THING OVER MY FACE?!!

Let me introduce to you the “no knife face-lift”.

This Light Therapy gives the desired effect of rejuvenating the skin without the need for surgery/chemicals/injections or painful procecdures! So you can see why it is not hard to believe that Light Therapy is fast becoming the preferred choice for those seeking to look younger.

LED light was used on astronauts while they were in space to encourage healing injuries. Then further studies in the US found that RED LED light stimulates cell healing while BLUE LED light has anti-inflammatory effect.

& my facial therapist decided that since I did not have any sensitive skin I could try out the RED LED light which is a powerful stimulant to the skin dermis and is an effective way to energize the skin cells to promote collagen growth and elastin.

The 81 pure red light sources 635nm penetrates top layers of the skin to energize it to allow the cells of the dermis to regenerate, plumping skin to reduce fine line and wrinkles, and also increasing levels of radiance.

When the 20 minutes was over, I was told to look into the mirror and I can tell from my facial therapist’s voice that she was very confident I was going to be happy with what I saw.

& I held the mirror over my face and took a look at my skin.

I was really pleased.

My skin definitely looked brighter than when I first arrived at SKIN INC. & best part is, my skin tone was so even and radiant.

No more yellow + dull looking skin!!

Pardon the huge bruise I have on my shoulders, I did hot cupping a few days before that and the mark was still very visible.

But obviously the main point of the picture was my skin!

The size of my pores were much smaller and the slight pigmentation I have on my cheeks seems to be lighter too!!

SUPER HAPPY!

Also, I can’t help but to touch my skin nonstop because it is so hydrated to the point where it feels bouncy.

S K I N C - my daily dose

Was invited to SKINC's event last week and I had a great great time!!

So this was me after work on a Friday evening.

Yes, hair was still in a mess.

Met up with my girlfriend for dinner before attending the SKINC event.

Mozza sticks.

My pan fried salmon.

Bird's scallop pasta which was not to my liking at all.

Too sweet.

& we headed to the ladies to touch up and make ourselves look presentable before heading to SKINC's store at ION Orchard, B3-42.

Took some selca first.

Doll-face.

Okay enough, we were about 30 mins behind time.

We were all invited to get our very own customized SKINC serum on that day.

I WAS SUPER EXCITED.

Because I've always wanted to do it but decided not to because I have too much skincare on hand BUT!! Thank god the lovely angels at SKINC read my mind and there I was.

When we arrived, the entire place was PACKED with people. Guests from the Media, bloggers and many other skincare addicts.

Was glad to see familiar faces like Beatrice & Jessica there as well.

Customizing my own serum!

And why am I using an iPad instead of getting my skin checked?

See, what they do here is, they have a series of questions relating to skin conditions for you to fill up and based on your answers, a personalized serum will be created for you!

You'll get to pick a bottle of your choice of color..

and guess which color I got?

& here are all the "ingredients" behind the serum.

3 different types of serums will be picked for you based on the skin-questionaire I filled up earlier on and mixed for me!

So while the lady at SKINC went to "concoct" my serum,

we decided to take more pictures!!

So here's my review on the SKINC my daily dose serum which was created specially to suit my skincare needs!!

I'm currently still using SKINC's Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask which I purchased at the last event. Yes, I liked it so much that I purchased it on the spot.

So, did you guessed it right?

I took the pink bottle.

& here's the serums that were mixed in for me to suit my skincare needs.

Hyaluronic - It helps replenish dehydrated skin.

Ceramide - It reinforces skin from rough, sensitive or dry skin.

Personally, I really love this idea because with just 1 bottle of [ my daily dose ] serum, I can actually target 3 or more different skin issues which I have. I no longer have to decide if I should use my whitening serum tonight or the hydrating one because I hate applying more than 2 layers of serum as it feels really thick.

So this brilliant idea from SKINC is really a huge lifesaver because now.. I can condition my skin with 3 serums in 1 bottle.

1 stone kill 3 birds?

And also, the serum gets absorbed into my skin really quick. It is light in texture and it has no added scent and is paraben free. *thumbs up!

I foresee myself going to purchase a 2nd bottle of my daily dose when I'm done with this. & I want to have other serums added in!! I want to create, Vitamin C + EGF + Q10 into a daily dose bottle!

So yes, SKINC's my daily dose serum has found a place in my heart.

Or rather, a place in my overflowing skincare drawer.

But, I've been bias and been using my daily dose serum 4 days in a row already!!

SKINC event + product review & more!

Just last week, I was invited to the Skin Inc or you may also know it as SKINC event over at Marina Bay Link Mall.

I was super happy to be invited for this event because I've personally tried 1 of their products before.. which is the SKINC Pure Deep Sea Hydrating Mask. & I loved it!

So I knew that whatever product that they will be introducing to us that day will be equally as good or even better!!

So I arrived the event a little late because stupid me went to MBS instead. HAHA.

I'm really thrilled to add this eye cream into my daily skincare routine now. Before this I was using a couple of eye cream which are quite mediocre. They weren't bad but didn't do much for me. So I was actually on a lookout for a new eye cream & this SKINC Eye+ came right in time!! I've been using it for about a week now & I can only say I loveeeeee it!

Even though the cream is quite rich, as you can see from the thick texture in the image above, it gets absorbed into the skin really fast. I doesn't feel oily or anything at all. I don't have any wrinkles/fine lines to begin with so I can't say much about that. But I really love how the skin around my eyes feel so supple & smooth after using this! Not sure if my dark circles are getting better because I'm still having very unhealthy late nights. So we shall see how it goes!!

Age-Revival Stem Cell Serum.

I really love this product!! I've always been into gadgets for the face and would always want to try them out! I know that with regular use of this device, it can help improve blood circulation around my eyes which means ... No more dark eye circles! Puffiness will be reduced too! The cool thing about this device is that, it only starts vibrating when it comes in contact with serums. When all the serum has been absorbed into your skin, the vibration actually stops by itself! Cool huh! I encourage everyone to get one of this!!

I bought this with my own money at the event! Because this was the product which I've personally tried before and loved it. It is a triple-treat gel mask that

I definitely did not regret re-purchasing this item again because it is still as good as I've remembered. It is a really gentle and lightweight gel which I apply all over my face including my eye area. After leaving it overnight, I do feel my skin becoming very plump and soft the next morning. Skin is also clearer & brighter! I don't use this every night though. Saving it only for days where I have important occasions. Hehe.

So after the event ended, Tricia & I went for her 1st meal of the day!
