Teeth whitening by InnoWhite

Having a set of bright and white teeth has always been something I was after. I mean, I spent 2 + years wearing braces so that my teeth could be straight and perfect but what is the use of it being straight if it looks yellow right? So I always used teeth whitening toothpaste and even teeth whitening strips to get a temporary fix for the color of my teeth.

Then, back in February 2014, yes, 1 year ago, I was offered a chance to get my teeth whitened by this new technology called 'INNOWHITE' by Dr Chung. I was thrilled because I've always wanted to get my teeth whitened by I didn't have the budget for it. I remember it being around S$3,000+ when I last checked!

"Our company is specializing in professional dental whitening system which market under the brand InnoWhite. This is wholly owned by our company in Singapore and it is a Singapore brand. The products include the in-office and home-whitening system.

The key feature of the InnoWhite is the utilization of OSRAM Advanced LED (ALED) technology from Germany in operating its light unit.  This non-heat solution emits blue-light at maximum intensity providing great effectiveness on the bleaching process, with reducing sensitivity and discomfort to the patients during the treatment .  Although the whitening effect initiated primarily by the chemical, the light with designated wavelength has the ability to speed up the oxidation process and make the treatment process more effective.   At the moment, we are offering complete in-office whitening kit with 35% hydrogen peroxide (HP35),  Home whitening kits with 10% as well as 22% carbamide peroxide (Home CP10 & CP22), and 6% whitening pen (WP6) as maintenance kit.  The products have been used by many dentists since we launched and the results have been very impressive. I was definitely convinced that my teeth was going to look so amazing when I left the clinic.

I was then introduced to dentist Dr Jerry Lim who told me about the process of InnoWhite and what I was going to expect for the next 60 minutes under his care. 

(Yes, this was me back in February 2014, 1.5 years ago.. and I actually look darker then.. don't I?)

Here, Dr Jerry Lim was matching my teeth to find the color range my teeth was in.

& surprisingly, my teeth were already pretty white to begin with!

It was like the "4th" place from the whitest it can be.. HAHA, so Dr Jerry told me the difference I notice after the whitening session may not be as big of a difference as those who have very yellow teeth.

So in the diagram above, is the entire process of InnoWhite.

Very straight forward and quick!

I was done in under 60 minutes.

The timer was set at 15 minutes each time because that is how long the LED had to shine over the whitening gel.

I'm not going to sugarcoat things but I do have a pretty sensitive front tooth, the left side especially, and after the 2nd round, my teeth/gums were starting to have a reaction to the whitening gel. The feeling of tingling and weird sensation like how a sensitive teeth would feel when in contact with extremely cold stuff. A little achey kind of feel.

But it was definitely bearable lah, and for the sake of beauty, I braved through the 3rd and final round of the treatment which was just 15 minutes long

My teeth was definitely 1 shade or  2 whiter. And as I've mentioned earlier on, the difference for me isn't that big because my teeth was already pretty white to begin with. But.. who doesn't want to have whiter teeth right?

So to be fair, this is the extend of what InnoWhite can do if your teeth are more yellow than mine!

I was also given this take home Tooth Whitening pen by Dr Chung so that I can maintain the whiteness of my teeth even months after the InnoWhite treatment and it is really simple to use.

Just "color" or rather coat your teeth (I only use it on the front few teeth) with the gel and let it stay for around 15-20 minutes before rinsing it off!

Handmade Soap from Korea - MyBlackShop

The packaging is so cute lah, and they are all hand cut so each block of soap comes in various sizes and they weight it to be consistent so don't mind the shape of it ok!

So first up, we have the Whitening soap!

Which can be used on the face as well as body. But I only used it on my body cause my face is pretty fair from all the skincare products I've been using and I needed my body shade to match my face's!

The whitening soap helps lighten dark spots and uneven skin tone, the way to use it is to foam it up and gently massage it all over your body for about 30 seconds before washing off!

I particularly focus on my elbows, knees and armpit because those areas are usually darker than the rest of my body.

It contains rice milk, coconut oil, olive fruit oil, palm kernel oil & glycerin. 

My skin was left very hydrated as well & after using it for near 2 months, my skin tone is so much more even now! 

The next product that I very excited to share is the Slimming soap!!

It helps promote metabolism!!??

When I first read that I was super thrilled because having a higher metabolism will mean that I'm able to burn the unwanted fats easier! & this is achieved by the ingredients in the soap accelerating our blood circulation!

This is how the slimming soap looks like.

It is made from safflower seed oil, macadamia nut oil, olive fruit oil, Palm kernel oil, seaweed and glycerin.

Here is how you are supposed to massage the soap.

Press down hands flat on your belly from top to bottom.

Massage clockwise around the tummy area and then followed by anti clockwise. (I've experienced this method when I go for my slimming massages in the past!)

Gently squeeze at the waist & lightly pulling the skin.

Massage upwards from hips to torso & you're done!

I usually take my time to massage in the shower because it just feels so relaxing to have a few minutes to slowdown my pace & enjoy some me-time.

As you can see, the sides of my waist is definitely more defined & my abs are showing more now that the fat later has decreased!!

It is even more obvious here, see how my lower belly used to be bulging out quite abit? Even by skipping meals, it will still be around! I really hated that and wearing tight pants or shorts with such belly is so unsightly! After using the slimming soap, the lower belly seems to have gone down quite significantly & I can tell just by wearing my usual pair of shorts!

Last soap I will be sharing is the Bust-up!

The ingredients in the soap are papaya extract, French rose flower oil, macadamia nut oil, olive fruit oil, Palm kernel oil, glycerin.

The papaya extract & rose oil helps stimulate the endocrine supplement to achieve breast enhancement!

& the way to massage is,

To place hand below armpit and draw the hand inwards to the center of the body, I usually do it in a scooping motion.

Then use both hands to contour the breast in a circular motion, always pushing the flesh from the sides to center of the body.

Lastly draw the breast from side and bass and massage in clockwise motion. Refer to diagram!

In just 6-7 weeks, my cleavage got deeper and more defined. Due to the regular massage, my breasts have gotten more lifted and perkier!

Before using the soap, my frontal view was quite sad because there isn't much definition in my curves due to the lack of, well, boobs. Hahah, but after using the bust-up soap, it really helps and the difference is noticeable!

Dine & SAVE with EATIGO!

Here are our Hot Stones Surf and Turf set waiting to be cooked and some sides that we ordered. I really like the potato wedges and fries. Haha, I can’t help it when there is potatoes; I just love them so much.

Cooking the king prawns and the Australian Wagyu beef on the really hot volcanic plates and I had the pork instead which was really good. I was worried it might be too tough after being grilled but it was just the right texture if you know when to remove it from the stone! There will be a staff there to help you with “cooking” your mains, so don’t worry about that.

Oh & the prawns were really fresh and sweet!

We had the Live Sri Lankan Crabilicious Bag cooked with Cajun Spice Garlic Herb.

Can you just look at the size of that crab.. the pincers were pretty huge and we were all aiming for it..

Luckily we ordered 2 sets.. haha.

There were also clams, grilled corn and prawns in it!

The way to eat this dish is right off the table!

Yes, time to get your gloves on if you want to keep your fingers clean. 

We polished everything clean and I could actually go for more but we decided to not be greedy as we had 2 more restaurants booked for the night.

The 3^rd restaurant that we’ve reserved was.. Pind Balluchi!

Authentic North Indian cuisine is served here and it is definitely a first for all of us. Jayne wanted to be a little adventurous and she chose this restaurant to bring us on our food trail!

We started with this Bhatti Chicken which is really fragrant and tender.

I really like how it is slightly charred because it brings out the flavor even more.

The next 2 dishes were lamb and I do not take lamb so I didn’t get to try it.

Here we have the Bara Chops and the Galouti Kebabs.

We were told that there were over 100+ herbs n spices used in the dishes. 

Now here’s a dish that I wished I could have more of, the Tandoori Broccoli.

I’ve never eaten my broccoli grilled with cheese before and I’m surprised at how well this combination is.

& lastly this Naan and butter chicken sauce was something that we kept reaching for.

The garlic naan went perfectly with the butter chicken sauce.

I really enjoyed my first authentic Indian dining and it will definitely not be my last.

& for the final restaurant, I was in charge of booking it and I decided to go for….

JAPANESE FOOD!

My undying love for Japanese cuisine is widely known by all my friends.

We had sashimi platter and tomato as appetizers.

Jayne & I loved the Japanese tomato so much we couldn’t stop. I think we ate half of it ourselves, it was so crunchy, juicy & sweet!

Here’s the beef bowl that I didn’t try but it was emptied by the end of our meal so I guess it must be pretty good.

I’m not a huge beef lover but I really think this is quite delicious. I had like 4 pieces of it HAHA.

Look at this pot of goodness, all in the konbu dashi (kelp broth).

I would have random cravings for this even till now, am already planning on revisiting Azmaya with SX during the 50% discount period. Hehe and I can proudly say it will be my treat this time.
