I can't believe I've been gone for more than 10 days! Almost 2 weeks. Holy shit. This is like the longest I've "abandoned" my blog. Oh dear.

I've been so freaking busy everyday. When I'm overseas, I'm always catching up on my sleep during the night and shopping like mad during daytime. & when I'm back in Singapore, I spend my nights going out till 4-5am with my friends & my day time sleeping like a log. SO SO UNHEALTHY. Boyfriend have been "scolding" me for sleeping late everyday but I just can't get my timing right. I'm like super active during the wee hours.

Right now, I'm in MUMBAI!

Yes, India!

Happy Valentine's -1 day everyone!!

Right now, boyfriend is sleeping next to me and sleep-talking. Its damn funny I swear. He sleeps for an hours + and then suddenly he wakes up, sits right up & starts talking some nonsense and goes back to sleep. & this happens rather often that I'm used to it.

So how was your Vday?

Mine was spent ridiculously simple this year but yet, I feel really happy & loved too.

Summarized version of my day - Woke up, met Esther & Juan in town @ Wild Honey for vday brunch, then went to the movies with boyfriend, followed by jogging!! Yes, we jogged together on Vday. LOL! & then late dinner + swensens for icecream with his friends.

We will be having another vday dinner tomorrow with Bird & my brother! Wanted to avoid the vday crowd & the ridiculously marked up prices. So yes.

HEY EVERYONE!!

Its been a long time I know!! Super busy lah. :( Been to like 4 different countries in the past 2-weeks. So I couldn't fork out enough time to blog. Right now, I'm in Japan and my hotel doesn't provide free wifi so I actually paid around $25 sgd for 24 hours of internet. SO, I'm gonna make full use of it.

I just had like a super shiok dinner near my hotel. I'm staying near Shinjuku area. & my colleagues brought us to this restaurant that serves cheap & delicious Japanese food!!

Hello everyone, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!! Though its already like day 5 or day 6? But better late than never right? So anyway as you can see from the post below, I tried to blog but I was so busy, I only managed to post all the pictures and not write anything. Then when I wanted to add in words for the entry, I got no more "feel" for it anymore. But the pictures are quite self-explainatory right? I went out with Shunxiong then to Filter to party the night away with my friends.

Sigh, I was NEVER a lazy blogger. I mean when I was still with MyFatPocket, I had to blog at least twice a week and do blog assignments or I won't get paid. HAHA, and also because I had alot of free time in Singapore lah! :(

So right now, I'm miles away from home again.

Currently in San Francisco & its 2.18am. I'm waking up at 10+am to meet the others for breakfast at Macy's rooftop for lunch at The Cheesecake Factory!!

I'm so sad that I had to leave Singapore during Chinese new year period. :( But I was already here during Xmas eve, xmas day, New years eve, New years day, Chinese reunion dinner, Chinese new year Chu 1.

Its our 5th year!!

Half a decade, can you imagine it?

I definitely can't.

Before Shunxiong, my longest relationship with my ex boyfriends were all shorter than a year +. So who would have thought that we would have come this far? People have been asking me on formspring how do we maintain our relationship. How do we make it this far and all. Well, it is never easy. Maintaining a relationship is really hard work. I mean, you are seeing this person day in day out for 5 whole years. Doing the same things and going to the same places. But I guess, if you are with the right person, things just fall into place and it all becomes easy.

Our anniversary dinner was at Au Petit Salut @ Dempsy.

I don't really fancy bread but whenever I visit all these atas atas restaurants, I sure eat the bread one. Cause damn nice!! With the butter, olive oil & balsamic vinegar!

But when I opened the door in my pjs, it was a delivery man with a bouquet of roses!!

Pardon my just-wake-up face.

LOL.

But he was so sweet lah, cause shunxiong always say that buying flowers is a waste of money because the flowers will just be lying somewhere in my house slowly wilting to death. Haha but he knows that I like receiving flowers every now and then. I mean, romantic gestures leh, which girl don't like right?

So yup, that's how we spent our simple 5th year together.

& I'm contented.

Happy new year everyone!!!

Its 3.39am and I'm back home from all the countdown and fireworks at Marina Bay Sands. Shunxiong's friends booked super huge room which was facing the city and we had an awesome view of the entire fireworks.

It lasted 6-7 minutes.

It was beautiful.

And this picture was taken WITHOUT any zoom.

We were THAT close to it.

This is our 5th year entering a new year together.

& this boy here still has his legendary never-ending flu. >.<

So bird & my bro had a room to themselves, shunxiong & I had our own room, and the other brothers had a few rooms too! So the entire night, we were running around the hotel rooms ordering food and having tons of fun.

He was the one who convinced me to curl my hair.

I have never ever thought of perming/curling my hair because I'm a very boring person when it comes to such changes. But he managed to make me loveeeee my curls.

I super loved it.

& after a few months, the curls died off and I had very nice wavy hair too.

It was boyfriend's birthday last month.

The 23rd of October.

I'm so glad I was around for his birthday, well I missed part of the celebration where he got really drunk and danced for 2 hours nonstop. Hahahaha. But I saw the epic video that my friends recorded. But still, I was happy that I'm able to cut cake & all that with him before his birthday ended.

But few days before that, I brought boyfriend for dim sum at Royal China @ Raffles hotel. I read from Beatrice's blog that Royal China serves not bad dim sum so I decided to give it a try. NOT BAD!! But must really call and book ahead cause its always FULL HOUSE. Dammit.

Drink tea! Its good for you. I super love tea. Any type of green tea or chinese tea. :)

One of the days where I met up with Michelle in town! Just because we miss each other. hehe. We have been hanging out really often these days. & I LOVE IT!! :) She is such a great friend. REAL. Down to earth though she can be bragging about everything she owns, but she doesn't at all. Brought her along to hang out with my friends and everyone got along really well! YAY to new friendships.

Went out with my favorite girl just few days back. I heard about the Ramen Champion thingy at Bugis iluma & decided to bring bird there to try the awesome ramen. In my mind, I was picturing the ramen as good as the one I had from my recent Tokyo trip!! But ended up, I was disappointed cause I ordered the wrong type!! :( HIYAH!

Had a bad hair day so I decided to just side-braid my fringe.

There's readers asking me how come bird, who is my bestfriend, is my brother's girlfriend too. Okay here's the details.

Short story: Bird has been my bestfriend since we were 9 or 10. & since primary school to secondary school, she always comes over to my place be it on weekdays after school, or weekends before we go shopping. So obviously she has became a family friend. But my brother of course paid no interest in her then, it wasn't cool to like your younger sister's friend when you were 17. So fast forwarded, when bird was around 20, she was going through this breakup and she kept staying over at my place. So during those weeks, my brother, herself and I would hanging out almost all the time. Late nights, outings and all that. & my brother decided bird is a good girl and wanted to woo her. & they got together after that. STORY ENDED.

The perks of having them together as a couple are sooooo much. Imagine weekly weekend stayovers! Going overseas together for holiday. Our hong kong trip was amazing. I REALLY MISS IT ALOT. And she is always there at every family outing/event/gathering. She is part of the family now.

A new skincare product that I recently bought. NOT BAD!!

Its 2.22am now. & I'm currently blogging in bed with boyfriend next to me. He is fast asleep already. I better get off my lappy and go to bed too!! Tomorrow, we're going to Raffles hotel for lunch! Cannot wait. I heard the food is really good. Its an advanced birthday celebration for my boy. I used to be sooooo happy whenever its Friday. Now, it doesn't make any difference to me. I'm halfway across the globe and it just doesn't have the same effect on me anymore.

Hello everyone!!

How are you guys? Its been another week since I blogged. I know. Sorry!! I wanted to blog on Sunday but guess what. Well, if you are following me on twitter, you'll know that I fell really ill just a couple of days back. Like really sick.

After work in Sydney, I happily went for lunch with my colleagues. I had pork katsu don + salmon sushi. & I went back to my room, fell asleep for an hour plus. & I woke up to this super weird feeling in my stomach. Like super bloated and a little painful. So I tried to sleep it away but it didn't work. & I suddenly had this nauseous feeling & I ran to the toilet. & yes, I vomited everything. My lunch & even my other food that I had earlier on. SO DAMN GROSS.

So I went to brush my teeth & went back to bed, hoping to feel better after a sleep.

Fat hope.

I got worst!! So long story short, I'm back in Singapore now. & I've my doctor immediately after I returned home. & I'm recovering!! Hooray!! Have been eating porridge, beehoon soup & all that healthy food for the past 2 days.

How was your day?

My Tuesday was pretty awesome.

I woke up to my aunt's call and told me that we shall go visit baby Tian en! So Desmond, my cousin, then came over to my place to pick me up within 30 minutes & we went for lunch before visiting his kid.

Tian en, my nephew, is so big already!! & he is super duper cute I swear!! I love children lah. I cannot wait to have a child of my own. I keep telling shunxiong that. I think he scared already. HAHA.

After that, I went to East Coast's Old Town coffee place to meet up with boyfriend and friends. Dinner was settled at Parkway Parade!! I love Parkway. There is always so much things to get there. Almost anything you need, you can get it there. I spent like $90+ at Cotton On. >.< Another $15 on a Hello Kitty screen protecter. I cannot help ittttt! And other random stuff lah.

I ended work at 5.40pm, reached home to bathe and change and left my house at 6.40pm. FAST ANOT? & I only had 3 hours of sleep the entire day before my work started. I was damn tired. I actually fell asleep on my way to dinner.

Very happy that the past few weeks I was able to be around for family gatherings and events!! I hate the feeling where everyone back home is hanging out and I'm faraway and missing out on all that.

But sad news: I won't be able to attend my girlfriend, Sarah's wedding dinner!!! :(((((

Its 1.33am and I'm sipping my bottle of Calpis drink, updating this space. I've been away from home for 7 days and surprisingly, I'm not THAT homesick yet. I guess it has to do with the fact that I've met a really nice friend and we've been room mates since Japan to LA and back to Japan.

Shopped so much today in Shibuya and Harakuju today.

From 12 noon until 8+pm in the night. & we walked non stop. I swear. My legs were almost breaking when it was around 6pm but I continued shopping because, ITS TOKYO!! Hello~~~~

Spent so much there. I bought like $200+ sgd worth of bras from this bra shop called AMO'S Style. The bra damn nice lah! And very nice when worn. HAHA. So its totally worth it.

Was tempted to buy many other cutesy stuff along the way but stupid me forgotten to bring my entire wallet out!! I left it in the hotel. So I only have like 10,000 yen with me. Which was around $160 SGD. My kind friend lend me money when I shopped at Forever 21 and all lah but I was paiseh to have her pay for me all the time. So I only buy what I thought was REALLY needed. Bird said it was a blessing in disguise that I forgotten to bring my debit cards out. If not I sure spend more!!

But I cannot control myself whenever I enter any drugstore. SURE GOT SOMETHING TO BUY ONE. I enter once, I left with things. Second time just an hour later, also left with things.

I need to stop buying lipbalms.

Snacks + instant noodle!! I need to stock up on more snacks tomorrow before I fly back to Singapore.

As the title suggests, yes, The following pictures are from years ago. 1 of it was really from 10 years ago. GOD, I'M OLD.

Well, before you wonder why in the world would I start posting all these pictures, let me explain. Hehe. See, few days ago, bird was over at my place & we were talking about how much we've grown and changed since secondary school and how we miss the old times. & I went "Hey, wanna see how much older we look now compared to the past? GO GET MY EXTERNAL HARDDISK FROM MY BROTHER!"

& yeap, bird went to get it and we went right down memory lane for the next 2 hours.

Lying on my bed, looking at my laptop, going through thousands of pictures. & god, I was super messy in organizing my picture folders last time. I have folders name "Untitled", "New folder", "New folder 1", "Clubbing", "Neoprints", "Birthdays" .. bla bla. So it was really tough to go through the pictures from the oldest to the newest.

** For those who are very interested in my "original" face without any fake lashes, before going for braces, & before I've mastered the art of makeup, ENJOY **

Thank god the lovegethy prints out the date. That was the only time in my life that I had "short" hair. & mind you, its not even short to begin with right? But yeap, I've always had long hair since I can remember.

We were into the "act jap" trend which was damn huge at that era. I bleached my hair 3x to get this color & bird bleached her hair 5x!! She's damn hardcore.

We were mad over Ayumi, I swear.

The above neoprint was taken when we were secondary 4, which means 16 years old.

As you can tell, we were both very hardworking + vain girls.

We would always dye our hair during the November-December school holidays. Just to have colored hair for 2 months and when school starts in January, we'll have to dye it black all over again.

This was when I was in Secondary 4 or 5. Shit, I can't remember.

But god, I do miss those times back in Katong Convent.

I've never ever regretted going to a Convent girls school. I've been in a girls school my entire life. Since KC Primary to Secondary. We really had alot of crazy times that I don't even know where to begin with. Everyday there's something funny/insane that we'll do to the teachers & classmates.

Secondary school years were probably the best years of my schooling life. I mean if you compare between Primary, secondary & polytechnic life.

Its been a long time.

IM SO SORRY!!

Terribly busy and I know its not an excuse you haven't heard before. BUT ITS TRUE. I'm always too tired or away from home. Also, I have limited internet access sometimes.

So its a Friday night and bf & I just finished watching "Bad Teacher". Not really nice leh. I thought it would be a much better movie. & prior to that, my brother, Shunxiong & I played Monopoly deal for like more than an hour in my brother's room. & guess who is the big winner of the night? MOI!! Haha okay nothing to be proud of. But the feeling damn shiok lah.

Dinner was porridge at The Oasis. Not as good as I expected. Won't be going back there anymore!!

& if you are wondering why am I wearing a tshirt, here's the story.

I was out before that & I was wearing like a halter top + mini skirt. Bf did not allow me to dress up whenever we enter JB so I had no choice but to change into bf's stupid monkey tshirt & get this, HIS BOXERS. Okay, at least the boxers looks like those cotton on checkered shorts.

Love going into JB, but hate the long ride there.

I remember the days back in Poly where I was so hardworking to wear all the new clothes I bought and take pictures of them. Now, I just leave the dresses in the shopping bags at the corner of my room. I NEED MORE TIME. :(

P.S: Just realized I've kinda grown up/changed. In terms of setting my priorities in life. I'm gonna stop spending so much and start saving. Yes, as much as that may seem impossible, I'm not gonna buy anymore branded bags for the rest of the year. Till maybe my birthday in June next year. Maybe just a new wallet. BUT THAT'S IT. No more new Chanel earrings, YSL rings, or bags. My crave for the Hermes 'H' belt & 'H' gold bangle are now pushed away. Just like my thoughts for a Chanel 2.55, which have been deleted temporarily from my brain. I have this plan that I've worked out mentally and I hope to achieve what I've set. Just another 1-2 years + more and we shall see! :)

No amount of labels will bring me as much happiness as a home for Shunxiong & I.

Okay hello everyone!!

I'm here updating my blog right now cause I'm stuck in my hotel room in Moscow with nothing to do. Was supposed to crash in another girl's room for dvd watching and stuff but I think she is sleeping now! So maybe later?

OMG SO EXCITED!!

Why? Because I've been away from home for 7-8 days already. And I'm seriously homesick now. But great news is, I'm coming back in less than 48 hrs time. So yes, I'm very stoked about that. I already have my entire Saturday planned out.

Touchdown at the airport around 5+am, Boyfriend, brother & bird picking me up, we'll have breakfast at Macdonalds, drive home, sleep til around 2pm, wake up & prepare to go out. Dinner with the 3 of them maybe in town, then movie! I've yet to catch "The rise of the planet of the apes". Everyone around me can't stop telling me how nice that movie is. So yes, we are gonna watch that.

OK, REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO GET HOME!! :)
