Casio EX-TR60

Taking pictures is part of my job as a blogger. & taking pictures that looks good is even more important for me. So having more than 1 camera is not uncommon for bloggers because we all have different cameras that serve different purposes. I have 3 cameras currently.

One of it is a semi-pro camera that have interchangeable lens for me to take professional looking pictures BUT it is very bulky and heavy!! I can’t keep it in any of my small sling bags or clutches so it is always a hassle to carry out and my shoulders ache after lugging it around for a few hours.
Another is a flip-screen camera I got 3 years back that is pretty old and I usually bring it around when I’m on my diving trip or when I’m out clubbing so that if I drop, damage or lose the camera, it isn’t that heartbreaking for me.

& the last camera that I got added to my collection is the..

New Casio Exilim EX-TR60!

I think this camera isn’t a stranger to most of you because this is the latest of the TR series and when the first TR camera was released; all the girls went crazy over it. It was THE Selfie camera to get and everyone wanted it. It just takes such beautiful selfie pictures with so little effort! The makeup mode brightens your skin tone and it just looks flawless.

This is the super dreamy effect that the camera’s Make-up mode can do.
That gives you soft blurry and fair looking skin.

Personally, I find this too much for me and I prefer something less and more natural looking.

So I set the Skin Tone and Soft Skin levels to zero for this picture so that you can compare what it is like with and without the makeup mode.

I was testing out if this camera is only good for selfies because I want a camera that can cater to my other photography needs. I want one that takes good pictures and this also takes pretty awesome macro shots.

Brought the Casio Exilim TR60 with me when the fiancé and I went on a coffee date, love the wide angle lens that can capture both of us from across the table!

It is able to capture my cappuccino without me having to bend down or lift the cup.
My other cameras would not have made it easy for me to capture this shot.

& taking selfie on the go is so easy now!
Just snap and I am happy with the results. No kidding! I took only 1 shot for this picture.

& here’s the dessert that we shared.
See what I mean by the camera isn’t just meant for selfies? I use it to take pictures of food too!

& best of all, I love the size and appearance of the Casio Exilim TR60.
It is so sleek and pretty!

I’ve had this trial set for 3 weeks and I find myself bringing it out daily in my bag because it is so light I don’t even bother taking it out of my bag. Compared to my semi-pro camera that is so heavy, I only bring it out when my fiancé is meeting me because he drives and I can leave it in his car.

It comes in a total of 4 pastel colors and I’m torn between getting the pearl white one or the tiffany blue one! Yes, I’m actually really going to purchase this camera after I return my trial set to Casio Singapore because having used it for 3 weeks, I’m sold. I need it in my life!

The camera is designed in a way that it can be angled into a standing position like this.
So it is a like there is a mini tripod is built-in the camera.
This is very useful when it comes to taking group pictures with the girls because we will usually just leave this on the table, set the timer and get into position & all of us will be in frame perfectly!

No more restrictions when it comes to photo taking!

The newly developed lens has outstanding optic qualities, and the high brightness LED captures even more beautiful images in the dark or backlit conditions.

Any angle, any place, any time, it really is the ultimate selfie tool!!

This was the 2nd picture that I took and it turned out to be one of the best selfies I’ve taken so far.
I was using the makeup mode but I set it really low because as you know, that is what I like.
[Skin tone +2, Soft Skin +1]

My boyfriend was sleeping and I was happily selfie-ing away. I just can’t stop lah! All the pictures just turn out looking so good effortlessly. Normally if I am taking selfie with my semi-pro camera, I would always take pretty long to get the right angle because it just feels awkward and clumsy to do so with a big camera and by then after 2-3 shots, my arm gets tired due to the weight of the it. So I always use my iPhone camera for selfie instead but… the picture resolution and quality isn’t good.

I even gave up on taking selfies for a while..until I got my hands on the new Casio Exilim TR60!

Another thing that I really like about it is Casio’s Make-up Mode is that the new technology not only smoothen your complexion and allows you to adjust your skin tone, it also distinguishes and captures features such as hair, eyebrows and eyelashes crisply and clearly, making for enhanced, yet realistic portrait shots.

Selfie never stops, even when I’m lying in bed watching the TV. Haha. Anyhow take also sure got instagram-able pictures one.

Having this Casio Exilim TR60 just makes it so convenient for me to snap pictures of myself because it feels very much like a phone, so small, light and I can bring it everywhere with me without any fuss.

I even brought it to the pool with me and the colors are so pretty.
Zero edits yah.

I tried taking night scenery of with it too and it turned out not bad right?

& there’s a new feature, the Selfie Pad.
To activate it, just double tap on the side of the camera and you can do it all with just one hand.

The Selfie Art Feature allows you to add filters to your image! There are 6 artistic effects to personalize the self portraits.
High Key gives a natural lighting effect, Foggy gives a softer ambience, Fairy accentuates feminine facial features, Nostalgia evokes a sentimental mode, Vivid brightens the photo and Square automatically adjusts image ratio to easily share on social media (think Instagram).

Besides the awesome fact that this camera has built-in WIFI, it now automatically transfers your images to your smartphone!!
EXILIM EX-TR60 is the first of the EXILIM-TR range to incorporate Bluetooth® Smart Technology, enabling faster and more stable connectivity to a smartphone via the EXILIM Connect application2.
Once connected, ladies can control the camera remotely and even continue to view, select and edit photos on their smartphone when the camera is switched off. Photos can then be shared instantaneously with friends and family through Scene3, a cloud-based photo album via EXILIM Connect.
